Why you don't usually need to set up a Revocable Living Trusts in NJ and spend $3,000-$6,000
1. Probate is easy in NJ and inexpensive. We charge $3,000 each for a trust
2. Revocable trust does not protect assets from nursing home or taxes
3. The assets of estate are not public, so why do you need to hide from public who is inheriting your assets.
4.   Asset ownership must be transferred from your name to the trust. You don't own the assets anymore.
5.    If you have a mortgage, the mortgage company will not permit a new deed to transfer the house into the trust. Even if no mortgage, the following documents must be prepared and filed
1. Deed
2. Seller's Residency Certification
3. Affidavit of Consideration  2 copies
4. Check not to exceed $150.00 for recording, payable to ______ County Clerk [write not to exceed on memo line]
5.  New “Cover sheet” required from county clerk.

6. Affidavit of Title
